Life's a Party!

So after my fabulous day of shopping, I was greeted at the front door by this little beauty.

I was selected by House Party to host a Kraft Homestyles Macaroni and Cheese Party, how crazy is that? I could hardly wait to see what they had sent me.

As you can see, they sent me 6 packages of their new Homestyle Mac and Cheese Dinner, and Pyrex pan to fix it in. Oh this a the most beautiful pan, it has a built in spoon rest, and strainer lip, I can't wait to use it. I also received a glass Pyrex dish with handles, how dang fun is that? Oh but wait, the fun doesn't stop there. I received a spoon to mix it all with! Also included were paper plates, napkins, coupons and 16 pairs of comfy Homestyle Macaroni Socks. What a fun party I will be able to have on September 25th. What a fun way to welcome in the fall weather, we will celebrate by getting fed some comfort food and getting all warm and snuggy! So, if you love mac and cheese, let me know and mark your calendar to join me at the party and enjoy the fun!

What a SWEET day

Today I took the kids to Sweets Candy Factory for a free tour. What a blast. My nephew Ethan summed the whole experience up best when he said, "I'm in a real live candy land!" It was surreal. Chocolate piped above our heads (the smell was incredible, I bet I gained 10 lbs. just entering that room.) We were able to see the workers "Panning" candy, and were able to taste candy at all of the tour stop spots. Landon's favorite part of was of course the "WALL OF CANDY." If we could have made it out without stopping at the candy warehouse after the tour, it would have been completely free, but like they say, "we were like kids in a candy store." You can't go to a candy store and not buy some candy made fresh that day can you? I certainly can't. So, $20 dollars later and with our stylish candy making hats (which were free with the tour) in hand we left Sweets. Aahhh, the bliss of a fun summer field trip complete with sugar coma.
