What was once lost is now found

The other day the boys were outside jumping on the trampoline. My nephew got hurt and my mother hollered at them to get off of the trampoline. My son however, hears that he is to get off the trampoline and never get back on again. In a fit of anger, arms flailing, voice rising, he screams that he is going to run away. Not overly concerned, my mother goes back into the house. Parker hears all of this and panicked runs to all the neighbors asking if they have seen Landon, that he has run away. When Landon does not return after 20 minutes or so, and he hasn't been located, there is some concern. Mike gets in his car and slowly drives the neighborhood trying to locate him. It has been about an hour now and no Landon. Driving up to the park (the furthest point in which Mike can imagine Landon would have gone) and still not locating him, Mike is getting a little panicked. Mike drives home to see if anyone else has had luck in locating Landon. Just as Mike stops the vehicle and starts to exit, from the back of the car he hears, "Hi Dad!" Feeling an immediate sense of relief and anger wash over him at one time, Mike said the only thing that saved Landon's hide was that he was back in the back of the car boxed in by piles of "stuff" and Mike couldn't reach him.
